Shilpa Shetty’s sister, Shamita, met Ridhi Dogra’s ex-husband, Raqesh Bapat, on the sets of Bigg Boss OTT. They dated for a while, while the actress reportedly even met his parents before calling it quits. Now, Shamita with Shilpa, Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem came on the sets of The Great Indian Kapil Show season 3. It was here that Shilpa revealed to her sister, Shamita, to join dating apps to find eligible matches.

Shilpa, Shamita, Huma, Saqib and Shamita showcased their fun side on the show. Kapil Sharma started off the episode by speaking of siblings bonding, and then he got into a fun and flirty banter with Shilpa, Shamita, as well as Huma. Shilpa then revealed that she often looks for nice, eligible bachelors for her sister and has a dream to see her married. Kapil did ask Shilpa if her parents forced Shamita to marry, to which Shamita shared that phase is done and that she does not have such expectations. Shilpa said:
“Shamita ka benchmark ladko ko lekar high hai.”
Shamita also shared that it was a challenge to find true love in today’s time, and she revealed that being single was a better option for her. Shilpa then told Shamita to try dating apps to find a good match for herself. Shamita shared of being single rather than making a hasty decision. However, Shilpa coaxed Shamita to find true love in the present era on a dating app. It was a complete lighthearted moment on the sets of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3.

Shilpa did share in taking a lot of efforts to find Shamita a good match. Shilpa shared the bold idea of asking eligible bachelors about their marital status only to confirm that she was looking for a suitable match for her younger sister. Shilpa revealed of always being impressed by eligible bachelors that made the conversation more interesting. Reportedly, Shamita and Raqesh’s relationship ended as soon as they were done with Bigg Boss OTT.

Shamita and Raqesh’s breakup rumours were doing the rounds that the pair had broken up. She had once taken to her Instagram Stories to clarify that she and Raqesh were not together for a while, and the music video they shot was for all the fans who had shown them love. A part of her note read:
“Do continue to shower us with your love as individuals too. Here’s to positivity and new horizons. Love and gratitude to you all.”
Shamita’s ex-boyfriend, Raqesh, had also written on his Instagram Story that he and the actress are not together. He credited destiny for making them meet in the most unusual circumstances. He thanked the Shara family for all the love and support. Raqesh did admit that he has been a private person, and for this reason, he did not want to announce the separation news publicly. However, he and Shamita have always owned it to all the fans. He also shared that their breakup news would shatter the hearts of all, but Raqesh wanted his fans to give him and Shamita love individually.
