With 4 days to go, Coolie has recorded an advance booking of Rs. 37 crores ($4.3 million) at the overseas box office, making it one of the highest of all time for a film of Indian origin. This is with 4 days to go, and overseas advance of Coolie could go as high as Rs. 55 crores by Wednesday.

Coolie vs War 2 Box Office: Rajinikanth storm leaves Hrithik–NTR Jr. Rs. 32 cr. behind in overseas, Rs. 47 cr. worldwide

Its competitor, War 2 meanwhile, is left far behind as far as international business is concerned. With 4 days to go, the Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr. film has clocked an advance of Rs. 5.50 crores in the overseas belt. The YRF film is trailing behind War 2 internationally by a humongous margin of Rs. 32 crores and the gap could just get wider in the days to come.

Globally, Coolie has scored advance booking of Rs. 50 crores, and the film is looking to scale new heights in the days to come. The advances for War 2 in India are expected to open soon, and with Hindi and Telugu, the film will be looking to reduce the gap. When we talk of worldwide numbers, Coolie is leading War 2 by a margin of Rs. 47 crores, which was unthinkable as a week back as War 2 was considered to be a bigger film than Coolie, but the tides have now shifted.

At the moment, it’s a one-man show, as Rajinikanth yet again proves why he is the greatest superstar of all time, as one man has taken down two young generation heroes.
