Hilary Swank enjoys rare family outing with twin toddlers to celebrate 51st birthday

Hilary Swank rang in her 51st birthday with a special family outing.

The actress celebrated her big day in an intimate way — with her husband, Philip Schneider, and their 2-year-old twins, Ohm and Aya, at Alpemare Beach in Italy.

Photographers snapped the family of four building sandcastles, wading in the water, soaking up the sun, relaxing under a cabana and riding bicycles.

Swank gave birth to the couple’s children in April 2023.

“It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it. 👼🏼🤍👼🏼,” she captioned her Instagram announcement at the time. “Happy Easter! 🐣🐣 Posting from pure Heaven. 🙌🏽.”

The “Million Dollar Baby” star married Schneider in August 2018, revealing four years later that they were starting a family.

“This is something that I’ve been wanting for a long time,” she said of her pregnancy during an October 2022 “Good Morning America” appearance.

“My next thing is I’m gonna be a mom — and not just of one, but of two.”

After telling Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest that she was “feeling great” later that day, the Oscar winner went on to reveal her due date during an interview with Drew Barrymore.

“They’re due on [my late father’s] birthday. I know. It’s like, [wow],” she marveled, referencing Stephen Swank, who was born on April 16.

Hilary got emotional as she called her babies “miracles,” but not everyone was as warm and fuzzy about the news.

“AREN’T YOU LIKE 50 YRS OLD? Gonna be in your 70’s [sic] when they graduate college. MIGHT live to see their wedding, maybe,” a troll commented beneath her “DOUBLE feature” pregnancy announcement.

Fellow actress Emmy Rossum ran to Hilary’s defense, replying, “Gfy,” which stands for “go f–k yourself.”

When Page Six caught up with the pregnant “P.S. I Love You” star at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards, she revealed that she was feeling “excellent.”

She gushed to us in February 2024 that motherhood is more “extraordinary” that she imagined.

Since the twins were born, Hilary has kept them out of the spotlight. However, she does post them on social media — without showing their face — from time to time.
