The singer rose to fame after winning the first season of American Idol and has since been one of America’s most loved voices. However, apart from being a boss lady, she is also a doting mother and family woman. So, when difficulties loomed over her family, it was given that she would be there for them.
Kelly Clarkson postponed her Studio Sessions residency
Kelly Clarkson is the epitome of soulful voices in the global music industry, with her strong voice control. She had been engaging the audience with her melodies. However, the singer has now postponed the remainder of her Studio Session residency. Kelly took to her social media accounts on August 7, 2025 (IST), and shared a note stating that she will be taking a break from her residency in Las Vegas to be with her family. She was quoted as saying:
“Unfortunately, I need to postpone the remainder of the August Studio Session dates in Las Vegas.”
The three-time Grammy winner announced that she is postponing the remainder of her August 2025 dates playing the Colosseum at Caesars Palace amid her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock’s illness. The singer shared that while she prefers to keep her personal life away from the limelight, her children’s father, Brandon, has been extremely sick for the past year. She added that in a time like this, her children need her support, and she needs to be there for them. The singer was quoted as saying:
“While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children’s father has been ill, and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them.”

In the same post, she expressed her sincere apologies for postponing the show. Kelley Clarkson also showed her gratitude towards her fans who have always supported her. She thanked them for their kindness and understanding in such a difficult time. She was quoted as saying:
“I am sincerely sorry to everyone who bought tickets to the shows and I so appreciate your grace, kindness and understanding.”

While heartbroken, Kelly’s fans showed their understanding towards what happened. Nobody can disagree with that. 100 per cent.” A comment read, “We just landed in LV flying in from Dallas and heard the news. So disappointed, but we understand. Seeing you was going to be the highlight of celebrating our 53rd anniversary. Take care, and maybe we can see you at another time.”
