For the panel discussion titled ‘The Iconic Avatars: Boon or Curse’, Chitrangda arrived in a dreamy ice blue gown from Australian label Rachel Gilbert, valued at USD 995 (approx. Rs 87,000).
Crafted in a soft pastel hue, the floor-length dress was the very definition of elegance. The silhouette was form-fitting yet soft, designed with a square neckline that subtly framed her collarbones and shoulders. What elevated the ensemble, however, was the internal boned corset and elasticated waist tape stitched into the bodice—adding structure, support, and sculptural precision.
Hand-draped detailing across the bust and waist added a romantic touch, creating an almost Grecian flow as the chiffon fabric fell gracefully to the floor. Designed as the “quintessential wedding guest dress,” the gown offered a flawless blend of simplicity and drama.

The gown was a showstopper—crafted entirely in black, liquid-effect sequins that shimmered with every step.
