Severance stars Zach Cherry (Dylan George) and Tramell Tillman (Seth Milchick) are going for the $1 million on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? on Wednesday, August 6. But, before they can conquer that, they had to answer a question about marijuana, in which they claimed they guessed.
TV Insider has an exclusive clip of the costars answering a question they knew the answer to “because of luck.” Cherry and Tillman try to win money for their charities after Community stars Joel McHale and Jim Rash finish their game.
Host Jimmy Kimmel reads the question: “For more than 40 years, what magazine famously featured centerfolds showing close-up images of marijuana plants?” The choices were A. High Times, B. Us Weekly, C. Good Housekeeping, or D. Popular Mechanics.
“Now, if my parents are watching, I don’t know this from personal experience,” Zach Cherry joked. “But, I’m leaning towards High Times.”
“Yeah, that makes sense,” Tramell Tillman said.
“You’re only using deduction to get to this answer?” Kimmel asked.
“Yes, purely deduction. No information, no personal experiments,” Cherry said. Tillman responded, “Nope,” and shook his head.
They locked in High Times and got it right. “Yeah, that’s right. High Times is a magazine with a centerfold of buds,” the host shared.
High Times is a cannabis culture brand that first gained success as a magazine. The magazine was founded in 1974 by Tom Forçade and advocated for the legalization of cannabis and related counterculture ideas.
“Wow. You didn’t know that, right?” Tramell joked.
“That could have gone either way,” Cherry responded.
To see how much money they won on that question and how much they win in total, tune into Who Wants to Be A Millionaire? tonight on ABC at 8/7c.
Also, catch the costars in the third season of the Apple TV+ series, Severance. A release date has not yet been announced.
