    Paramount Rounds Out Its Executive Ranks Under David Ellison

    The new Paramount Global has rounded out its executive ranks for business operations following the close of its merger with David Ellison’s Skydance, which is expected to be finalized on Thursday.

    Don Granger will be president of its motion picture group and Matt Thunell will have the same role at Paramount Television Studios. Jane Wiseman will lead streaming originals from the executive vice president level.

    Kevin MacLellan has been named the president of international and content distribution, and Rebecca Mall is president of cross-company initiatives, franchise, and corporate marketing. The remaining five appointees are all EVPs: Kevin Creighton for corporate finance and investor relations, Tony Driscoll as head of corporate strategy and development, Efrain Miron as head of content strategy and licensing for direct-to-consumer, Jose Turkienicz as head of global operations, and Laura Watson is the executive vice president of corporate and executive communications.

    “These new members of the senior management team bring fresh perspectives shaped by years of industry experience, adding meaningful depth, unrelenting passion, and a shared commitment to building a next-generation media company,” Ellison, the incoming Paramount Chairman and CEO, said in a statement. “At a time of incredible opportunity for Paramount and our industry, I’m confident these forward-minded leaders will propel our vision and reignite a shared sense of purpose and ambition throughout our teams.”

    Ellison previously named his C-suite on Monday. On Tuesday, the company revealed its new board.

    Below are all of the new appointees’ official bios, straight from the incoming Paramount Skydance team:

    Don Granger
    President, Motion Picture Group
    As President, Motion Picture Group, Don will be in charge of motion picture creative, physical production, business affairs, and production finance. At Skydance for over eleven years, Don was the President of the Feature Film Division, responsible for overseeing the development and production of the company’s feature film slate, which included four films in the Mission Impossible series, Top Gun: Maverick, The Old Guard, The Adam Project, The Gorge, The Family Plan, The Tomorrow War, Jack Reacher and the upcoming Way of the Warrior Kid, May Day, Matchbox, and others. Don has over 35 years of experience shepherding tentpole films, as both a studio executive and producer, and also serves as executive producer of the commercially and critically acclaimed Reacher television series, which premiered in 2022. Prior to joining Skydance, Don served as President of Motion Picture Production at United Artists and was an executive at Paramount Pictures for over a decade, supervising such franchises as Mission Impossible, Star Trek, the Jack Ryan films, as well as Varsity Blues, Kiss the Girls, and the Academy- Award winning Saving Private Ryan among many others. Don is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Producers Guild. He holds a B.A. from Yale University and resides in Southern California with his family.

    Kevin MacLellan
    President, International and Global Content Distribution
    As President, International and Global Content Distribution, Kevin will help shape and execute Paramount’s international strategy, oversees its global offices and networks—including Channel 5 in the UK and Network 10 in Australia—and leads the licensing of all Paramount film and television content to platforms and broadcasters worldwide.

    Kevin is a global media executive with extensive experience in distribution, production, streaming, and marketing. As Chairman of Global Distribution and International Media at NBCUniversal, he doubled revenue to $5B and oversaw $1B in expenses and 2,500 employees across 36 countries. He led operations covering 120,000 TV episodes, 4,500 films, 9 streaming services, and 65 networks, driving profit growth through major restructurings and landmark deals with Netflix, Amazon, and Sky. He also helped develop and greenlight hits like Downton Abbey, The Last Kingdom, and The Gilded Age. MacLellan previously held senior roles at Sony Pictures and HBO and is a graduate of Marist College and Sussex University. He lives in Los Angeles with his husband Brian and two sons.

    Rebecca Mall
    President, Cross Company Initiatives, Franchise, and Corporate Marketing
    As President, Cross Company Initiatives, Franchise, and Corporate Marketing, Rebecca will develop and execute cohesive campaigns that span the Paramount platforms and promote company initiatives. She will also manage franchises across the company to maximize upside while enhancing the overall Paramount brand consistency and identity.

    Rebecca served most recently as Chief Marketing Officer at Skydance Media, overseeing strategic marketing across its streaming, theatrical, series, animation, interactive, and new media divisions. Previously, she was a Senior Marketing Executive at WME, and was Co-President of Domestic Marketing at Paramount Pictures, where she oversaw media, analytics, PR, and strategy. She helped launch campaigns for films like Arrival, A Quiet Place, and Mission Impossible: Fallout. She also spent six years at Google/YouTube, working with studios to develop digital marketing strategies for entertainment studios. Rebecca holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson, with a focus on entertainment marketing, and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors from the University of Michigan. Her early career included over six years in TV development and production at ABC, NBC, and NBC Cable networks.

    Matt Thunell
    President, Paramount Television Studios
    As President, Paramount Television Studios, Matt will be responsible for leading all aspects of the Studio’s expansive slate of series.

    Matt served as President of Skydance Television for the past three years, shepherding dramatic growth in the studio’s output. Some of his team’s upcoming launches include The Runarounds
    and Ride or Die for Amazon Prime Video and Neuromancer, Brothers and 12 12 12 for Apple TV+. Prior to Skydance, Matt was at Netflix for eight years where he served in a variety of leadership positions. He and his teams were responsible for bringing to life a host of groundbreaking series like Stranger Things, Thirteen Reasons Why, Outer Banks, All the Light We Cannot See, The Umbrella Academy, Grace and Frankie, Black Mirror, and House of Cards. Throughout his tenure at Netflix, Matt was committed to nurturing the next generation of talent, helping found Netflix’s emerging director program, among other initiatives. Before Netflix, he served as a creative executive at The CW, guiding development of the DC Comics universe (Arrow, The Flash) as well as critically acclaimed series like Jane the Virgin. He graduated cum laude from Yale University and hails from South Carolina.

    Kevin Creighton
    Executive Vice President, Corporate Finance & Investor Relations
    As EVP, Corporate Finance & Investor Relations, Kevin will oversee Corporate Finance, Treasury and Investor Relations for Paramount.

    Most recently, Kevin served as the SVP of Strategic Finance, IR & Treasury at StubHub, where he helped lead the company’s finance and planning functions in building out public company readiness. Before that, he spent six years at Netflix, holding senior leadership positions in investor relations and corporate strategy. His time at Netflix also included key roles within Content Finance and Strategy. Kevin began his career on Wall Street as a technology investor after serving as a US Marine Corps Intelligence Officer. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and a master’s from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.

    Tony Driscoll
    Executive Vice President, Head of Corporate Strategy & Development
    As EVP, Head of Corporate Strategy & Development, Tony will lead Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, Transformation, and Strategic Alliances. In this role, he will shape the company’s long- term strategic agenda and drives high-impact investments, partnerships, and cross-functional initiatives across a rapidly evolving media and technology landscape.

    Tony brings over two decades of senior leadership experience across entertainment, media, and emerging technology, with executive roles at Epic Games, Warner Bros., AT&T, and Disney. As a creative leader at Epic, he launched and scaled the Fortnite Creator Economy and built Fortnite’s IP Partner Program to democratize access to worldclass IP for UGC creators worldwide. At Warner Bros., he led production technology and innovation across film and television, accelerating the use of virtual production—most notably for HBO’s House of the Dragon. During his tenure at AT&T, Tony drove strategic investments in frontier technologies and played a pivotal role in the Time Warner acquisition. Tony began his career as a Disney Imagineer, designing and building iconic attractions like the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, later contributing to major acquisitions, including Pixar and Marvel, as a member of Disney’s Corporate Strategy & Development team. Tony holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maine, an MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business, and completed postgraduate studies at The Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University.

    Efrain Miron
    Executive Vice President, Head of Content Strategy and Licensing, Direct-to-Consumer
    As EVP, Head of Content Strategy and Licensing, DTC, Efrain will oversee strategy, dealmaking, and valuation for Paramount+ and Pluto TV across all originals and content licensed for DTC.

    Efrain was hired as one of the first employees at Netflix dedicated to the company’s original programming efforts in 2012, and he worked as a senior strategist and dealmaker at the company for 9 years. During his time at Netflix, Efrain implemented and helped shape many of the business practices, frameworks and deal structures that are widely utilized throughout the streaming ecosystem. Efrain oversaw business affairs for several divisions at Netflix, including the UK unit, Young Adult/Family series and the company’s Overall Deals group. He spearheaded negotiations for a slew of brand-defining series, including hits like The Crown and Wednesday. Most recently, Efrain served as President, Strategy and Business Affairs for Sister Group where he was responsible for helping drive its growth strategy across production and distribution of films and series and worked closely with the company’s Board of Directors to manage its global investments and portfolio companies. Efrain began his career as an attorney in the Mergers & Acquisitions, Securities and Corporate group of the law firm Katten Muchin Rosenman focusing on representing the firm’s roster of entertainment & media clients. Efrain earned degrees from the UCLA School of Law and the University of Southern California.

    Jose Turkienicz
    Executive Vice President, Head of Global Operations
    As EVP, Head of Global Operations, Jose will oversee Global Business Services, Procurement, Real Estate & Facilities, Security, Aviation, and Enterprise Support Services. He will drive operational efficiency, supports strategic growth, and scales global infrastructure.

    Previously, Jose held senior leadership roles at UPS—including Chief Global Business Services Officer, President of Procurement, Real Estate, Risk Management, and Customer Service—where he led 18,000 employees across 220 countries and transformed underperforming functions into award- winning global operations. He has also held executive roles at Aramark, Campbell Soup Company, and Mars Inc., with leadership experience across North America, South America, Asia and Europe.

    Known for his relentless drive and mission-first mindset, Jose mobilizes resources to deliver results in complex, high-stakes environments. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from PUCRS (Brazil) and completed executive education at Emory, Wharton, and IESE Business Schools. Passionate about innovation, he is committed to redefining operational excellence to position Paramount for sustained global growth.

    Laura Watson
    Executive Vice President, Corporate and Executive Communications
    As EVP, Corporate and Executive Communications, Laura will partner with the Chief Communications Officer in leading Paramount’s overall communications strategy, with a focus on executive, financial, and internal communications.

    Laura previously served as Deputy Chief Communications Officer at Warner Bros. Discovery and as VP, Executive and Corporate Communications at The Walt Disney Company. Prior to that, she was Director of Strategic Communications at United States Central Command, Director of Strategic Communications for the Vice Chief of Staff of the Army, and Speechwriter to the Deputy Secretary of Defense and the U.S. Secretary of Labor. She has a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Tarleton State University.

    Jane Wiseman
    Executive Vice President, Head of Originals for Paramount+
    As EVP, Head of Originals for Paramount+, Jane will be responsible for leading the development and production of the platform’s slate of original content.

    Jane joined global independent studio SISTER in 2024 as Head of U.S. Television, where she oversaw the company’s TV division with a focus on developing and producing premium scripted series. Prior to SISTER, she was among the first executives hired to build the Netflix Original Series team in 2014. As Vice President of Original Series and Head of Comedy, she was a driving force behind Netflix’s global expansion into original content, helping launch some of the platform’s most acclaimed and award-winning series, including Ozark, Narcos, Dead to Me, Russian Doll, Master of None, Never Have I Ever, Big Mouth, BoJack Horseman, The Kominsky Method and Grace and Frankie. Over Jane’s tenure, she played a key role in scaling Netflix’s internal studio and led the content strategy, P&L, and production of approximately 20 series launches per year. Before Netflix, Jane served as SVP at Chernin Entertainment, where she oversaw development and worked on New Girl for FOX. She previously spent six years at NBC as SVP of Comedy, where she developed beloved hits like Parks and Rec and Community. Jane began her career at FOX, contributing to the development of the Emmy Award-winning Arrested Development and pop culture hit The Simple Life. Jane is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
