Now, after two weeks of his death on July 22, 2025, at his home in Buckinghamshire, The New York Times and The Sun, the official cause of death that came up is cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease. The death certificate was filed by Ozzy’s daughter, Aimee Osbourne, at a registry in London. According to the news outlets, the certificate stated:
“He died (a) out of hospital cardiac arrest (b) Acute myocardial infarction (c) Coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction (Joint Causes).”

Ozzy was laid to rest on July 31, 2025, at a special place in his own mansion in Buckinghamshire. It wasn’t a typical location for burial, but it was the last wish of the rock legend. His wife, Sharon, made it sure that her husband’s special wish was respected. The event took place on their 250-acre lavish property, which was attended only by close family and friends. Sharon was joined by their children, Jack, Kelly, and Aimee. Louis Osbourne, who is the eldest son of Ozzy Osbourne from his first marriage to Thelma Riley, made a rare appearance at the ceremony.
However, the absence of his adopted son, Elliot Kingsley and his eldest daughter, Jessica Osbourne, from his first marriage to Thelma has raised many eyebrows. According to a report by The Daily Mail, apart from his family, some friends and collaborators of Ozzy, including Elton John, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, members of Metallica, and his Black Sabbath bandmates, marked their attendance to bid a final goodbye to the artist. A special floral arrangement was also done to pay special respect to him. British singer, Yungblud, who is a close connection with the Osbourne household, gave a heartfelt reading at the ceremony.
