    MTV VMAs 2025 Nominees Announced: See the Full List Here

    The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards take place on Sunday, September 7. Today, the full list of nominees has been revealed. Lady Gaga leads the pack with 12 nominations, and she’s primarily recognized for Mayhem, “Abracadabra,” and “Die With a Smile.” Gaga’s “Die With a Smile” collaborator, Bruno Mars, is second with 11 nominations, and Kendrick Lamar also reached double digits, scoring 10 nominations, for GNX, “Luther,” and “Not Like Us.” See the full list of nominations below.

    There are two new categories at the 2025 MTV VMAs: Best Pop Artist and Best Country. There are also numerous first-time nominees, including Mac Miller, who is being recognized posthumously for the visual accompaniment to Balloonerism.

    For the second straight year, the MTV VMAs will take place at Long Island’s UBS Arena. The show airs live on CBS, beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.
