Mahavatar Narsimha is following a trajectory of its own. While films see a gradual rise over the weekend (sometimes even meteoric), what this animation film did – and that too in its second week – was out of this world and unprecedented. Now, same is the case with the weekdays as well since the film is defying all trends, all theories, all expectations.

While Friday collections were Rs. 5.30 crores, Monday has come to Rs. 4.70 crores, which is quite good again. Considering the fact that Saturday had already got into double digits with Rs. 11.25 crores in its kitty and Sunday had seen a massive Rs. 16.27 crores being scored at the box office, the weekday trending has started on a huge note as well.

The mythological action drama is the highest collecting film amongst all others in the running and that too across languages and will keep going strong right till the arrival of War 2 now. It has already netted Rs. 70.34 crores and will comfortably go past the Rs. 90 crores mark by the time the second week comes to a close.
