Many felt that this film, Son of Sardaar 2, lacked the heart and originality of the first film. Some users even felt that it was a forced sequel. One user commented, “Forced faltu sequel. Kuch Bhi in the name of comedy. Ajay was fun in dance monologue & Border recreation, rest sleepwalk act. SOS2 is Housefull5 level Crap.” Another user said, “Literally a colossal flop. All the jokes and comedy are pure gags and vulgar. Worse than #Housefull5 0 story and screenplay is trash. #AjayDevgn is horrible and expressionless. Songs are bad too. TRASH!”

Son of Sardaar 2 is a sequel to the hit film, Son of Sardaar, which was released in 2012. The film is directed by Vijay Kumar Arora and it stars talented actors like Ajay Devgn, Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, Neeru Bajwa, and Deepak Dobriyal. The narrative of the film follows ‘Jassi’ (played by Ajay Devgn), who travels to London after his wife (played by Neeru Bajwa) called him and asked for a divorce.
While she has moved on in London, ‘Jassi’ continues waiting for her in Punjab. When ‘Jassi’ has nowhere to go in London, he bumps into ‘Rabia’ (played by Mrunal Thakur). Soon, ‘Jassi’ gets involved in a chaotic situation with ‘Rabia’s family. The chaos adds fun and humour to the film.
