Two terrorists were killed, and one soldier was injured in Jammu and Kashmir as Operation Akhal, one of the biggest counter-terror exercises this year, entered the third day on Sunday.
Sounds of blasts and firing continued throughout the night in the Akhal forest area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district. The encounter between terrorists and a joint team of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, Army and the CRPF is still underway.
