Pati Patni Aur Panga is a new show that has premiered on Colors TV on August 2, 2025. This reality show stars many beloved couples of the entertainment industry as participants. Popular comedian, Sudesh Lehri and his wife, Mamta Lehri, are also participating in the show. However, before this, Sudesh was also seen in Laughter Chefs 2 where his chemistry with jodidaar, Nia Sharma, was well-loved due to their hilarious comic timing. Recently, Mamta Lehri answered whether she gets jealous of Sudesh and Nia’s pairing.
Sudesh Lehri’s wife reveals if she is jealous of his and Nia Sharma’s jodi
In a recent interview with Telly Talk, Mamta Lehri was asked if she is ever bothered by her husband and Nia Sharma’s jodi in Laughter Chefs 2. She replied that she is not jealous at all. On the contrary, she enjoys it too and has seen the show. Mamta also stated that the teasing and jokes are Sudesh’s work, so he has to do it. In the interview, Mamta was quoted as saying:
“I am not jealous. Accha lagta hai. I’ve seen the show. Karo, kaam hi aisa hai. Kyun aisa karna hai? Ladki ke saath aisa kyun kiya? Shararat kyun ki, mujhe accha lagta hai. Rozi roti hai apni, woh toh karna hi padega.”
Sudesh Lehri has revealed that they were married young, and Mamta has seen all his struggles
Sudesh and Mamta were just 15 and 17 years old, respectively, when their families got them married. In the same interview, the comedian revealed that Mamta was his sister-in-law’s younger sister. They tied the knot so young because Sudesh had told his family that if they wanted them to get married, it had to be now or never. Hence, two hours later, they tied the knot. Talking about his and Mamta’s wedding, Sudesh shared:
“She was 15 and I was 17. We were married during childhood. Yeh mere bhai ki saali hai. I had said, karni hai toh abhi karo nahi to nahin karni.”
And after being together so long, the couple has been through all of their ups and downs. Sudesh especially recalled a time when he was getting paid Rs. 50 and couldn’t even afford to pay rent. His wife, Mamta, has been with him during these days of struggles as well. The comedian has many times opened up about his initial years and the hardships he went through. Earlier in one of Archana Puran Singh’s vlogs, Sudesh had revealed his struggling days and said:
”I have said many times that to reach where I am today, I really worked hard. When I started my career, I struggled so much that I went bankrupt, my house was sold. Everyone laughed at me, I have built many houses.”
