Steve Nicks is rescheduling two full months of her tour schedule because of an injury she sustained.
“Due to a recent injury resulting in a fractured shoulder that will require recovery time, Stevie Nicks’ scheduled concerts in August and September will be rescheduled,” an announcement on the “Landslide” singer’s Instagram account read Friday.
The post also shared that Nicks would likely be healed by the fall, adding, “Please note that October dates will be unaffected.” It also pointed out that concertgoers with rescheduled dates for the “Live in Concert” tour could redeem their tickets at another show scheduled later this year.
The announcement concluded, “Stevie looks forward to seeing everyone soon and apologizes to the fans for this inconvenience.”
No further information was provided about the current state of the 77-year-old Fleetwood Mac rocker’s health. Page Six has reached out to her reps for comment.
In the comments section of the post, many fans took the opportunity to send their well-wishes.
“Heal quickly and safely goddess,” one person wrote, while another added, “Stevie! Please rest up. Ive been trying to see you for 10 years 😭”
A third wrote, “Hope you will have a quick recovery, get well soon but also please 🙏 @stevienicks take your time to heal 100% you and your concerts are worth to wait 💖 I send you lot’s of love, strength and magical, healing hugs.”
A fourth fan pointed out that the post scared them into thinking the news was more dire, adding, “Damn near had a heart attack. Someone wrap her in bubble wrap and put her in a salt circle!”
Nicks’ health struggles come a few weeks after she and Lindsey Buckingham sparked reunion buzz by each posting via Instagram a lyric from Buckingham Nicks’ “Frozen Love.”
The former bandmates then confirmed the re-release of their 1973 album, “Buckingham Nicks.”
They shared in a joint post on July 23, “Buckingham Nicks is available for pre-order now, out September 19th. ‘Crying In The Night’ is yours now.”
