Matt Rife had his first public relationship with Kate Beckinsale in 2017. Their romance caught the internet’s eye as Matt was 21 years old at the time and Kate was 44 years old. Their 23-year age gap soon became the topic of every other headline. However, Matt went viral after their relationship ended, as Kate was then dating Pete Davidson, and he offered him a page from his own experience. According to TMZ, the comedian said:

Matt Rife had another fling with the Pretty Little Liars star, Lucy Hale. The comedian shared that he was seeing the actress in a conversation with Page Six. However, it was in an interview with GQ in April 2023 that Matt opened up about why he never spoke about his romance with the gorgeous actress. Matt added that, despite being in his mid-20s, he hated dating and wanted a wife and a family.
He expressed his desire to have a home life that makes him feel comfortable, safe, and at peace. Matt pointed out how it was hard for him to maintain relationships as he was touring 52 weeks out of the year, and while he met some of the most amazing women, he could not be the boyfriend they deserved. Matt, in a conversation with the People in October 2023, shared that Jessica was an important part of his ‘infrastructure’. He added that she was the one who pushed him to make time for himself, and he loved that. Matt revealed that Jessica was the most concerned about his sleep issues and was always making sure that he eats well and gets his work done so that he can have free time.
Matt Rife often mentioned his beloved girlfriend, Jessica Lord, in his comedy sets. He would share how she loved it and how she had the best sense of humour. However, their romance was short-lived as they broke up in March 2024. A source told TMZ that their breakup was amicable and neither had any hard feelings as their relationship had just run its course.

Matt posed with a meatball beside his girlfriend, while in another picture they could be seen sharing a kiss. The last picture showed him carrying Mariah in his arms.
