You may have also seen recent rumors that US President Donald Trump (never ceases to be surreal typing that phrase, I’ll tell you what) has been “seriously considering” a pardon for Diddy.
If there’s one thing about Trump that’s constant, it’s his tendency to weigh in on everything — so, of course, when he was asked outright about the possibility of a Diddy pardon in a Newsmax interview, he answered the question (sort of).

“Well he was essentially, sort of, half-innocent,” he said. “I don’t know what they do that he’s still in jail or something. He was celebrating a victory but I guess it wasn’t as good a victory.”
“I was very friendly with him, get along with him great, seemed like a nice guy, didn’t know him well. But when I ran for office he was very hostile. But it was hard, we’re human beings and we don’t like to have things cloud our judgement, right? But when you knew someone and you were fine and then you run for office and he made some terrible statements…so I don’t know, it makes it more difficult to do.”
When the reporter asked Trump if the pardon possibility was “more likely a no,” he replied, “I’d say so.”
Does this mean Diddy won’t be pardoned? Who knows, really…Trump is, to say the least, unpredictable. We’ll see!
