Well, it can easily be said that the movie has record-breaking potential, and amid this, it has already achieved another milestone by becoming the first YRF film to stream on the OTT giant, Netflix.

Netflix and YRF have collaborated before in several web series and digital content, including The Romantics, The Railway Men, Maharaj, Vijay 69, and Mandala Murders. However, Saiyaara will be the first YRF film to be streamed on Netflix. Earlier, YRF’s theatrical releases were exclusively available on Amazon Prime Video. Now, with Saiyaara, YRF is expanding its movie releases to Netflix. The movie, directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Akshaye Widhani, features Netflix credits towards the end, indicating a collaboration with the OTT giant.
When is Saiyaara going to be released on Netflix?
People have been going gaga over the movie, Saiyaara and have been waiting for its OTT release. Amid people eagerly waiting for the OTT release of Ahaan Panday’s movie, a report by TOI stated that it might be released during the second week of September. Later, reports suggested that the box office success might have compelled the makers to push the movie for a later release. Given it’s the much-anticipated release, the makers want to maximise profits, and within just three weeks, the movie hit big numbers at the box office, ensuring Saiyaara will run in theatres for several weeks now.
Some other sources also revealed that makers have been negotiating with Netflix and have been trying to push the release of the movie during Diwali. Be it anytime, the movie buffs, who didn’t have a chance to watch this musical in the cinema halls, are eagerly waiting for its release on small screens, and the date will be announced by the makers and the OTT giant, Netflix, which will possibly be decided, depending on the box office collection.

Saiyaara revolves around the love story of the ‘bad boy of music’, ‘Krish Kapoor’, and the shy writer, ‘Vaani’. Their story is filled with ups and downs and eventually a huge twist. Several users claimed that the movie is a copy of the Korean film, A Moment To Remember. Well, while there are certain similarities in both movies, they could easily be differentiated with several dissimilarities as well.
For instance, in Saiyaara the disease, Alzheimer’s is presented through the actress, just as in A Moment To Remember, people called it a true-blue copy of the 2004 Korean movie, which in no way seemed to be a true claim. The leads, Aneet and Ahaan, had their debut with this movie, and they were praised for their skills.
