Mahindra and Mahindra, one of India’s leading automotive manufacturers, recorded robust growth in July 2025 with overall auto sales touching 83,691 units, marking a 26% year-on-year increase, including exports.
In the sport utility vehicles (SUV) segment, Mahindra sold 49,871 SUVs in the domestic market, registering a 20% growth over the same period last year. Total SUV sales, including exports, stood at 50,835 units.
The company’s performance in the Commercial Vehicles (CV) category remained steady, with domestic sales reaching 21,571 units. Notably, Mahindra sold 9,475 three-wheelers (including electric variants), up 164% from July last year, driven by growing demand for last-mile mobility solutions.
On the exports front, Mahindra witnessed a sharp uptick with 2,774 units shipped in July 2025, up 83% year-on-year.
Commenting on the performance, Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd, said, “In July, we achieved SUV sales of 49,871 units, a growth of 20%, and total vehicle sales of 83,691 units, a 26% growth compared to the same month last year. Our SUV growth has been supported by the recent launch of XUV 3XO ‘REVX’ Series & the commencement of deliveries for Pack two variants of the BE 6 and XUV 9E models.”

- Utility Vehicles: 49,871 units (up 20%)
- LCVs (2T–3.5T): 17,701 units (up 12%)
- LCVs >3.5T & MHCVs: 1,107 units (up 20%)
- 3-Wheelers (incl. EVs): 9,475 units (up 164%)
- Export Performance – July 2025:
- Total exports: 2,774 units (up 83%)
Year-to-date (April–July 2025), Mahindra has sold 201,938 SUVs, up 22% compared to the same period last fiscal, underscoring its strong foothold in the UV segment.
