Jason Momoa has captured the world’s attention with his portrayal of ‘Ka’iana’, he has the perfect physique, aura and skills to play the historical figure, and fans have given his casting in the show a massive thumbs up. Additionally, the viewers have been left impressed by the overall look of the show, and the stunning visuals of Chief of War are absolutely breathtaking. The makers’ decision to shoot the series in Hawaii and New Zealand has added a layer of authenticity that is usually missing in historical shows.
Talking about the format of the series, Chief of War seems to follow in the footsteps of its preceding historical shows, choosing to spend most of its duration focusing on day-to-day operations and conflicts. There is virtually no show or show that embraces and explores Hawaiian culture and history like Chief of War does, which has once again won the audience over.
