Urvashi Rautela claims her jewellery has been stolen from the London airport
Bollywood actress, Urvashi Rautela, made a shocking claim as she revealed that her luxury suitcase, which contained jewellery worth Rs. 70 lakh, had been stolen from London’s Gatwick Airport. For the unversed, Urvashi was in London to attend the Wimbledon Tennis tournament. She claimed that her bag was stolen from the baggage belt. She questioned the airport’s huge security and how a bag could get stolen from the baggage belt. She expressed her disappointment over the security breach. Taking to her Instagram handle, Urvashi Rautela shared her ordeal in a long post. She wrote:
“As a Platinum Emirates Member and a global artist attending Wimbledon, I am deeply disheartened to report that our Christian Dior brown baggage was stolen from the baggage belt at London Gatwick Airport, following our Emirates flight from Mumbai.”
Urvashi Rautela announced losing her expensive iPhone at the Narendra Modi Stadium
On October 15, 2023, Urvashi had taken to her Instagram handle and posted a screenshot of her post on social media handle X. She revealed that she lost her 24-carat real gold iPhone at Narendra Modi Stadium. She appealed to people to help her find her phone. Her note can be read as:
“Lost my 24 carat real gold i phone at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad! If anyone comes across it, please help. Contact me ASAP.”
When Urvashi Rautela received backlash for not caring about other while promoting the film
Earlier, Urvashi made headlines for the way she promoted the film without caring about the ongoing news at the start of 2025. During an interview with ANI, Urvashi made an insensitive comment about Saif Ali Khan’s attack and kept flaunting her gifts in the media. When she was asked to give a byte on Saif Ali Khan’s stabbing case, she was quoted as saying:
“It is very unfortunate. Now, Daaku Maharaaj has crossed Rs. 105 crore at the box office, and my mother gifted me this diamond-studded Rolex. In contrast, my father gifted me this mini watch on my finger, but we don’t feel confident wearing it outside openly. There is this insecurity that anybody can attack us. Whatever happened was very unfortunate.”
After this, Urvashi Rautela apologised for the same. She stated that the media questioned the same on the morning of that incident. And she had no idea what happened at Saif’s place.
