Ravi Kishan steps into the role of Raja, a Bihari Sardaar who leads the underworld, in Son of Sardaar 2. Originally portrayed by Sanjay Dutt, the character has been receiving attention since the trailer’s release. Kishan, known for his grounded presence and versatility, brings a fresh take to the part.Talking about this in the recent unfiltered conversation with the star cast, Ravi Kishan revealed how he prepared for the role, “Muje malum hi nahi tha mein ese koi role mein aaunga, aur mujhe Punjabi bolni hai, all thanks to Ajay Devgn, he said, isko daari do, muchh do, Pagdi do, lagna chahiye Raja, because itna cult character, Sanju baba played already.”

He further added, “Now to create that fear, lagna toh chahiye fear hai family mein, aur vo ambiance ke liye 2 ghante mein prepare…toh thanks to Ajay Devgn, he and Dadu (Vijay Kumar Arora) gave me quite comfort!”
Discussing Ravi Kishan’s character, Ajay Devgn mentioned that he will be one of the FIRST Bihari Sardaars audiences will get to witness on the big screens, to which Kubbra Sait curiously asked, “750 films and is it right, you never played a Sardaar character?”
Ravi Kishan, replied, “Kabhi Nahi! Hindi Cinema mein sab muje bolte the, Kab Ravi tum aaoge? hum tumko pura dekhenge, toh ye ek film hai, vo fans ke liye, nachte gaate dikhunga, Ashwini ke sath mein ne dance bhi kiya.. aur khuch punches, comedy, Jitna hai ki ek bahut maza aaega, esi casting bahut rare dekhne ko milti hai.”
Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the film features a diverse cast including Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, Neeru Bajwa, Chunky Panday, Kubbra Sait, Deepak Dobriyal, Vindu Dara Singh, Ashwini Kalsekar, Roshni Walia, Sharat Saxena, Sahil Mehta, and the late Mukul Dev. While the first film delivered plenty of fun, the sequel aims to take it up a notch.
