Vijay Deverakonda’s recently released film, Kingdom, has been winning hearts ever since its grand release on July 31, 2025. The film also has Staydev and Bhagyashree Borse, who plays Vijay’s on-screen lover. Not only this, but it is believed that the lead female protagonist, Bhagyashri Borse, takes the story forward. Who is Bhagyashri Borse?
For the unversed, Bhagyashri Borse hails from Aurangabad in Maharashtra. She was born on 6 May, 1999. She made her acting debut with the 2024 film, Mr. Bachchan. However, she didn’t have a prominent role or scope to showcase her acting. She was playing the role of eye candy. Another thing was that the movie failed to mark its place in the hearts of the audeince, and Bhagyashri also failed to impress the fans.
It is worth mentioning that Bhagyashri also made an appearance in Kartik Aryan’s superhit film, Chandu Champion. She has also starred in Yaariyan 2. But it was Vijay Deverakonda’s spy action, Kingdom, which gave her the needed recognition. She not only is able to show off her acting skills, but the way her character has been written leaves a strong mark on the hearts of the audience.
Bhagyashri’s upcoming work projects
The actress, who is winning hearts, will also be going to reportedly star in Atlee’s #AA22xA6. Not only this, she has Kantha, another hit project in her pipeline, which stars Dulquer Salmaan with Rana Daggubati as the producer. The film is said to be released on September 12, 2025. She will also be seen in the film, RAP022, wherein she plays the role of ‘Mahalaxmi’. The film is considered to be a subtle love story, directed by Mahesh Babu.

Vijay Deverakonda plays the role of a young man who challenges the system filled with corruption and power play. He is a rebel who is determined to bring change. Bhagyashri Borse is playing the role of his love interest, who is the pillar of support in his life.
The film is set up in the early 1990s, and ‘Soori’, played by Vijay, is an unstable man in search of his brother, ‘Shiva’, played by Satya Dev. His quest leads him to Sri Lanka, and he gets to know that his brother is involved in smuggling activities, and has a whole team. ‘Soori’ then takes the job as an ‘undercover agent’ to track down his brother’s illegal activities.
‘Soori’ gets to the gang to reach his brother and becomes one of them. The story further revolves around ‘Shiva’ realising that his brother is an undercover agent and his purpose to bust them. It is a question whether the two will join hands or will face each other in the action film. The film received a lot of love from the audience.
However, the only thing people felt amiss was that Kingdom falls short in narrative length. It is being said that the story looks similar and has a few surprises which keeps the viewers engaged in the story. It is also said that Gowtam Tinnanuri has taken a different approach in the film, due to which the emotional factor is lacking in the film.
