In a strategic move timed with Kiara Advani’s birthday, Yash Raj Films is set to unveil the first track from its highly anticipated action entertainer War 2 on July 31. Titled ‘Aavan Jaavan’, the romantic song features Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani—marking their first on-screen collaboration and building excitement among fans eager to see this fresh pairing.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 is part of the expanding YRF Spy Universe and stars Hrithik Roshan reprising his role as Kabir. Kiara plays Kavya, his new counterpart, and the teaser of Aavan Jaavan already hints at a palpable chemistry between the two leads. A brief look at the song shared by Mukerji and YRF on Instagram shows the duo in coordinated white outfits amidst scenic European landscapes, exuding both elegance and romantic tension.

Interestingly, Aavan Jaavan reunites the core creative team behind Kesariya, the chartbuster from Brahmastra. The song brings together composer Pritam, lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya, and singer Arijit Singh once again. In his Instagram post, Mukerji described the track as “groovy and romantic,” revealing that it was created during the film’s Italian schedule and remains one of the team’s favourite memories from production.

“Hrithik and Kiara’s lovely energy as they come together on screen for the first time… ‘Aavan Jaavan’ was the soundtrack for our Italian shoot,” Mukerji shared, calling the process of creating the song ‘joy-filled’.

War 2 also marks the much-awaited Hindi debut of South superstar Jr NTR, further raising the stakes for the film’s release. Set to hit cinemas worldwide on August 14 in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil, the film is expected to deepen the YRF spyverse crafted by Aditya Chopra. With ‘Aavan Jaavan’ slated to drop tomorrow, the buzz around War 2 continues to build—one romantic beat at a time.
