The auditions for the American TV reality show, America’s Got Talent season 20, are currently underway. AGT isn’t just a show, but it’s an emotion and has been grabbing the audience’s attention ever since it aired. In this show, people from all over the world come to showcase their talents. Whether they are from any background, dance, magic, song or anything else, people arrive on the AGT’s platform and leave people in awe of their talents.
India’s dance group, ‘Unreal’ gets the final gold buzzer from Howie Mandel on AGT
The judges’ panel remains occupied by Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Mel B, who can press the golden buzzer and send their favourite act directly to the live show. As the 20th season’s audition is ongoing, Howie Mandel rang his final gold buzzer for an India dance group, who, with their unrealistic dance moves, left the judges and the audience’s jaws dropped on the floor. The group selected the remix version of Bairi Piya from Devdas, and set fire on the stage.
Dressed in white costumes and perfect makeup, the dance group’s performance was simply out of this world. Their swift movements and excellent body flexibility made them appear truly ‘unreal’ on the stage, and they truly deserved the honour. Howie was the one to do it.
Howie Mandel pressed the golden buzzer to send the group to the live show, from where the winner is selected by audience voting. The dance group is based in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The crew has a quiet passion for the art of dance, and even after their parents wanted them to do higher studies and be medical professionals, they chose art, which not only lives in their hearts but also visibly runs through their nerves. One member from ‘Unreal’ said:
“In the beginning, it was very difficult for us as dancers because we had no support from our parents or anyone. They prefer for us to study and become a doctor or something else. But we chose to become dancers. Everybody has their dream to become superstars. AGT is the place where dreams can be realised.”
Judges, Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel were left in awe with ‘Unreal’s superb dance performance
Talking about the amazing dance by the Unreal group, Howie said that he has never seen anything that the crew has brought on the stage of AGT, with the amalgamation of dance and contortions. Howie said that the group definitely deserve to be on season 20. On the backstage, he praised the group and said that he would buy tickets to witness just Unreal’s performances, and he mentioned being quite sure that the group would go all the way on season 20.
Another judge, Simon Cowell, who is known for his critical comments and most brutal reviews, was also left speechless by ‘Unreal’s dance moves. Talking about the same, he shared that he was left speechless with this creativity, which he felt was scary as well. He also mentioned how the group’s effort was simply visible through the hard work they put into their performance. Stating that he just loved Unreal’s performance, Simon said:
“I am slightly speechless, to be honest with you. I just thought it was so creative and brilliant and scary. I can tell how much work you must have put into this. This doesn’t happen overnight. You just got everything right. I love that. It was amazing.”
