In a fitting tribute to one of India’s most legendary industrialists, veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah is all set to portray J.R.D. Tata in the much-anticipated series Made in India – A Titan Story. Unveiled on the 121st birth anniversary of the Bharat Ratna awardee, the first look of the show was revealed by Amazon MX Player and Almighty Motion Picture, offering a compelling glimpse of Shah in the role of the man who redefined Indian enterprise.

Directed by Robbie Grewal and produced by Prabhleen Sandhu, founder of Almighty Motion Picture, the series promises to be an inspiring narrative of innovation, resilience, and nation-building. The screenplay has been penned by noted writer Karan Vyas, ensuring a layered exploration of Tata’s towering influence in shaping modern India.
Joining Shah is acclaimed actor Jim Sarbh, who steps into the role of Xerxes Desai — the visionary behind Titan Watch Company. The ensemble cast also features Namita Dubey, Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, Kaveri Seth, Lakshvir Saran, and Paresh Ganatra, each playing pivotal roles in recreating the rise of Titan and the men and women behind its legacy.
Made in India – A Titan Story chronicles the powerful partnership between J.R.D. Tata and Xerxes Desai, capturing their shared mission of building an iconic Indian brand at a time when the country’s economy was just opening up. From boardrooms to factory floors, the series is expected to highlight key moments that changed the face of Indian manufacturing and lifestyle.
