For Ivanka Trump, she wanted to make her wedding the most memorable and for her sky was the limit when it came to her wedding prep. She got married to Jared Kushner on October 25, 2009, in a Jewish ceremony. For the wedding day, Ivanka took three months to plan her dream wedding.
On the wedding day, she wore a gorgeous custom Vera Wang dress. Her wedding outfit featured floral detailing with sheer half-sleeves and high-neck. The A-line dress was accentauted with a prisitne white-hued long veil. The price of her custom-made bridal gown was worth US Dollar 50,000.
Not only this, Ivanka also wore beautiful bridal accessories, including a diamond bracelet, a platinum-diamond hairpiece to fixate her veil, which was worth USD 2,65,000 and a pair of sparkly earrings that were priced at USD 1,30,000, and these were from her jewellery collection, which is not available anymore. Ivanka Trump’s total wedding outfit including her jewellery was worth USD, 3,15,000. It is one of the most expensive outfits so far. It is also worth mentioning that Ivanka Trump’s engagement ring was more than USD 5,40,000.
Ivanka’s expensive bridal gown was inspired by the famous Hollywood legendary actress, Grace Kelly. Another highlight of her wedding was the 13-layer extravagant wedding cake, and the decorations. For the wedding location, she chose her father’s golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.
How Ivanka Trump met the love of her life
It is worth mentioning that Ivanka and Jared were 25 years old when their father set them up for a business lucnh. While they were talking real estate, and thinking of cracking deal together, they made a pact for life. In an interview with Vogue, Ivanka said:
“They very innocently set us up thinking that our only interest in one another would be transactional. Whenever we see them we’re like, ‘The best deal we ever made!’”
Ivanka converted to Judaism before getting engaged to Jared
Ivanka’s love was so pure that she chose to follow Jared’s religion due to his family’s firm belief. Before they got engaged, Ivanka converted from Presbyterian to Judaism. Ivanka told that they follow the rules of the religion which disconnects from technology after Friday sundown until Saturday sundown. She called her religious conversion an ‘intimate’ thing. She said:
“It’s been such a great life decision for me. I am very modern, but I’m also a very traditional person, and I think that’s an interesting juxtaposition in how I was raised as well. I really find that with Judaism, it creates an amazing blueprint for family connectivity.”
Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner are blessed with three children. Their first child was a daughter whom they have named Arabella Rose. Two years later, the trio welcomed another child, a baby boy, Joseph Frederick, and in 2016, their family was completd with the arrival of their son, Theodore James.
