The shoot has officially kicked off in June 2025, and currently, the team is filming in Midtown Manhattan. And while fans are undoubtedly thrilled to see their favourite couture divas reunited after almost two decades, the question that’s bugging the internet is, how much behind-the-scenes content is too much?

Angry fans slam leaked photos from The Devil Wears Prada 2 sets

Recently, some behind-the-scenes shots from The Devil Wears Prada 2’s Manhattan set took the internet by storm, and fans have mixed reactions to the clicks. In the photos, Meryl Streep in her ‘Miranda Priestly’ avatar was seen sporting a fierce pantsuit paired with red heels and oversized sunnies, and in some photos, Stanley Tucci (‘Nigel Kipling’) strutted behind, looking crisp in a 3-piece suit. 

In some of the shots, Anne Hathaway can be seen in her ‘Andy Sachs’ look, accompanying the duo, looking effortlessly stylish in her business-chic avatar, sporting chunky black sunnies. While the photos definitely sparked major nostalgia, not all fans seem excited about these BTS shots.

Netizens slam the BTS pictures for spoiler overload

As exciting as it was to see these legends back in action, fans aren’t exactly thrilled by the constant stream of set leaks since the filming began. Social media pages like Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) and paparazzi sites have been flooded with daily behind-the-scenes shots, and now, even the die-hard fans are weary of getting spoiled about character returns before the film ultimately airs the next year.

With new BTS pictures surfacing every other day, fans have already caught hold of characters like Emily Blunt’s ‘Emily Charlton’ on camera, while in the original film (spoiler alert!), she had moved on from ‘Miranda’s magazine, Runway. 

One user tweeted, “At this point, I’m going to have to mute The Devil Wears Prada on here because they keep spoiling it through these pictures being posted on here,” Another wrote, “So much The Devil Wears Prada 2 content on the TL. At this point we might watch the whole movie online.” A third user wrote, “Wow, it’s so nice to already see the whole movie through reels.”
