The whistleblower in the Dharmasthala mass burial case in Karnataka has identified 15 locations allegedly linked to the burial and cremation of bodies. The Anti-Naxal Force (ANF) has been deployed to all these sites.

According to sources, the first eight locations are along the banks of the Nethravathi River. Locations 9 to 12 are beside the highway near the river.

The 13th is on the road connecting Nethravathi to Aajukuri, and the remaining two, 14 and 15, are in the Kanyadi area near the highway.

This comes after two days of questioning by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in Mangaluru. The whistleblower, a former sanitation worker, has alleged that he was forced to bury and cremate bodies of women and minors, many showing signs of assault, between 1998 and 2014 in Dharmasthala.

He appeared at the Intelligence Bureau office in Mallikatte on both Saturday and Sunday, accompanied by his lawyers and wearing a black mask to conceal his identity. His statement is being recorded by investigating officer Jitendra Kumar Dayama, possibly with videographic documentation.

SIT Chief Pranav Mohanty also joined the inquiry on Sunday, along with officers MN Anucheth and Dayama.
