However, in an unexpected turn of events, the parrot abandons its own task and begins removing the rings that its fellow parrot had already placed on its peg, only to arrange them on its own.

This wasn’t a one-time act; the mischievous parrot repeatedly took the rings that the other parrot had carefully placed on its own peg, transferring them onto its own. Meanwhile, the other parrot, suspecting nothing, continued to fetch new rings from the starting point, unaware that its hard work was being undone by the smarter contender.
