Instead, we end up discussing Parliament, current affairs, world history, and the future topics that connect generations,” she said, highlighting how the show remains a conversation starter across time.
Having led the original show through a significant part of Indian television’s early 2000s wave, Irani emphasized that Kyunki was more than entertainment — it was an ecosystem. “I’ve always believed that Kyunki was never just a TV serial. It became a source of livelihood for so many people. Because of the audience’s love, the show grew, and every time someone switched on the TV, it lit many people’s homes with hope,” Irani shared. Addressing the heart of the reboot, she added, “This show brings together three generations highlighting their confluence, their conflicts, and most importantly, their togetherness.”
