No matter how many hearts broke today, we have to reveal that Miley’s real name is Destiny Hope Cyrus. She legally changed her name while she was starring on the popular show, Hannah Montana, wherein she was playing the character of ‘Miley Stewart’.

While people might think it’s a sad story, it is not, as Miley’s actions tarnished the image of Disney’s favourite character. By the time the show ended in 2011, Miley had become a huge star, but she was also the magnet for controversy. From pole dancing at the Teen Choice Awards to her leaked video smoking. Last month, in a conversation with The Ringer, Miley revealed that she wasn’t allowed to sing any of the original songs from the hit TV series after the show ended. She was quoted as saying:
“After I left Disney, I wasn’t allowed to perform any of the ‘Hannah Montana’ music. It’s not like I wanted to, I mean, performing ‘The Best Of Both Worlds’ between ‘We Can’t Stop’ and ‘Wrecking Ball,’ wouldn’t have really made sense.”

After 20 years of breaking up with the fan-favourite character, Miley Cyrus is all set to celebrate Hannah Montana‘s 20 years. She is planning a special tribute on the milestone anniversary in 2026 with the Hannah Montana 2026 Tour. Miley confirmed the same at her recent appearance on Sirius XM. She said:
“I want to design something really, really special for it because it really was the beginning of all of this.”
The news gave fans final closure on the beauty of the show, Hannah Montana, and her double life, which they also lived with her. People are assuming if she would be reuniting with the star cast or plan a concert with all the famous songs from the series. Well, only time will tell!
