Lindsay Lohan brought a sunny yellow ensemble to “Good Morning America” on Monday with the help of patent leather Christian Louboutin sandals and a dress from Balmain. The actress is in the midst of promoting the movie “Freakier Friday,” which is set for release on Aug. 8.

Lohan specifically wore Christian Louboutin’s Sova sandal, which features relatively thick straps across the foot and around the ankle, a rounded toe and a tall stiletto heel that sets off the silhouette. She wore the shoes, which were produced in many colors by Louboutin but appear to no longer be carried by the brand, in bright, patent-leather yellow.

Lohan’s shoes fit in with a yellow plaid tweed dress from Balmain, which evoked the iconic Jean Paul Gaultier set worn by Cher, played by Alicia Silverstone, in “Clueless,” which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. Lohan’s look was a paler yellow, however, and featured a fitted silhouette accented by shiny gold buttons down the front. The design hailed from Balmain’s resort 2026 collection, which was presented in Paris in June.
Miles Socha wrote in a WWD review of the collection, “The women’s collection pinged between short and snug silhouettes, including a bevy of square-shouldered bolero jackets and perky miniskirts, alongside voluptuously scaled wool coats with exaggerated peak lapels, and full-legged trousers.”

Lohan’s style this year has included all sorts of color, from a blush pink Miu Miu gown at the “Freakier Friday” premiere last week to a vintage purple Chanel minidress at CinemaCon in April; she paired the latter look with transparent slingback pumps embodying the ongoing clear heels trend.
