The discussion around actors choosing to undergo botox and fillers has been ongoing for quite some time. Earlier this year, Bhumi Pednekar appeared in the web series The Royals and faced trolling and speculation regarding supposed cosmetic procedures. So, when News18 Showsha caught up with Bhumi at a recent event in New Delhi, they asked for her thoughts on the matter. Bhumi responded by saying that the issue is receiving excessive focus and stated, “If one wants to opt for fillers, why not?”

She said, “I feel, to each their own. We live in a time where people should make their own choices. I am nobody to have any kind of judgment on what people want to do. I also feel that this is being discussed way too much.” Bhumi emphasized that individuals should have the freedom to make personal decisions without being judged and noted that the topic is receiving far more attention than it deserves.
The 36-year-old actress shared her personal understanding of fitness, stating, “It is my way of being.” Bhumi was in New Delhi to attend a Skechers event. Speaking about the initiative, she said, “People in Delhi have come together and run one thousand kilometres collectively. Skechers, in return, is going to give 100 pairs of shoes to The Kutumb Foundation. It is so lovely.”
When questioned about the food items she includes in her diet to stay fit and healthy, Bhumi revealed, “People get very scared of but I have it in my diet – fat. I have a lot of ghee in my diet. The only difference is, I do not cook in ghee; I consume it raw. Put it on your rotis or idlis, it is very beneficial for your health.”
On the work front, Bhumi Pednekar most recently appeared in Netflix’s The Royals, a romantic dramedy that follows the unexpected love story between Aviraaj Singh (played by Ishaan Khatter), a contemporary prince, and Sophia Kanmani Shekhar (Bhumi), a bold startup founder. The show features an ensemble cast including Zeenat Aman, Dino Morea, Nora Fatehi, Sakshi Tanwar, and others. The series is streaming on Netflix and has been appreciated for its unique approach to romance.
Up next, Bhumi will appear in Daldal, a gritty web series for Prime Video where she takes on the role of a police officer. The filming has been completed, and fans are now looking forward to the announcement of its official release date.
