Saiyaara’s title track lives with Tanishk Bagchi forever. The Mohit Suri-directed film created wonders for Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda and Tanishk Bagchi, who created the titular track of the song, which is four minutes. He shared that when Mohit did the film, he made it a point to make the composer meet Ahaan, so that Tanishk could understand the kind of person the debutant was. Saiyaara was crooned by Kashmiri artist, Faheem Abdullah, and Tanishk revealed that neither Ahaan nor Aneet knew him or the music composer, Arslan Nizami.

Tanishk, in an interview with BollywoodShaadis, shared that when he was doing the song, he had met Ahaan. A look at him made the music composer feel the vibe in the young star, who was interested in the kind of music that was happening. Tanihsk, who makes his music quietly, once met Aneet and Ahaan at a party, and he told the debutants that they would be making big with Saiyaara. Tanishk shared that Ahaan and Aneet did not know Faheem and Arslan, who created magic with Saiyaara. He shared:
“They were so open-minded people, accepting, they didn’t care who the singer was. They don’t know the name of the singer. But they appreciated that he is good. Tanshik’s music and comfortable to work with. When there is a new star, when you do music for a new person, and the song becomes a hit, the credit goes to me. Mohit sir is a legend.”

Tanishk, who honestly with his heart, created Saiyaara’s music shared of not being in touch with Aditya Chopra. Everything was through Mohit Suri, and the composer was given the brief of needing a song which is about immortal love. Mohit did not know how to explain, but spoke to Tanishk of a love that cannot be forgotten in one life. Then Tanishk started cultivating himself and spoke of meeting Faheem from Kashmir 2 years back. He had also met Arsalan, who came up with the idea of ‘Saiyaan mera rootha’. Tanishk then added:
“Then, we built the song up. I built it up, and Faheem sang the song. We presented it to Mohit, and then he presented it to Adi sir. What happened is that on the first day song got approved. First day, first shot. This is the song we want for the film. As it is, whatever it is, it is the soul. We wanted the thing in the first go, and then I made the themes. Most of the themes are done by me. I made it a point that even if I am doing one song, I will make it the song of the film. That worked.”
For Tanishk, music-making is like a love story. For him, love in any form is like a fragrance that will remind you of a strong memory associated with the same. Tanishk is attached to music as it is his emotion through which he expresses.
