Tiffany Haddish took a more understated route in the shoe department while attending Comic-Con 2025 in San Diego on Friday. The actress and comedian stepped out in a pair of classic closed-toe stilettos — a departure from her recent lineup of metallic sandals and embellished open-toe heels.

The pointed pumps were crafted in a deep navy suede, featuring a soft almond-point toe, high-cut vamp and slim stiletto heel. The silhouette stayed pared back — no visible hardware, embellishment or brand markings — allowing the material and color to carry the weight.
The closed-toe pump marks a noticeable turn for Haddish, who’s built a recent red carpet track record around architectural sandals. At the American Music Awards in May, she wore Gedebe Paris’ Shard mule — an open-toe style with sculptural metal heels and beaded vamp detailing. Two days later, she chose Alexandre Birman’s Phoebe sandals for her “CBS Mornings” appearance, a strappy gold style with an angular heel and metallic wraparound straps.
Haddish styled the shoes with a short-sleeve houndstooth mini dress featuring a large navy appliqué bow across the chest. The dress, by Oscar de la Renta, played off the shoe’s texture and tone without pushing the palette too far. A sleek updo and glossy neutral nails completed the look.
Haddish was in San Diego to promote “Solar Opposites,” the Hulu animated series in which she voices new character Tilly. The actress joined the cast onstage during Friday’s panel, which celebrated the show’s fifth season and teased new episodes arriving this fall. Her appearance marked one of the franchise’s first in-person fan events since 2022.
Other stars, like Elle Fanning, also made an appearance at the convention, who also opted for a pointed heel in a striking hue during her “Predator: Badlands” appearance in Hall H.
