A college professor from Bengaluru left students delighted after she danced to a hit Marathi song at the cultural fest of the institution. The internet is calling it the best thing they’ve seen all week.

A video of Mandara Gowda, Assistant Professor at Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous, dancing to the Marathi song Wajle Ki Bara has gone viral on Instagram. Shared by the student council on the college’s official page, the video has already crossed three million views.

Dressed in a pink saree and a dark pink full-sleeved blouse, Mandara didn’t miss a beat as she matched the rhythm with her sharp steps and expressive face.

The performance took place during ‘Rhapsody 2025’, the college’s annual inter-class cultural fest, and soon became the show-stealer.

“POV: Your teacher is also a dancer,” read the caption in the video. It went on to describe her act as the “highlight of the day” and a “pleasure to watch.”

Several viewers felt she had raised the bar for faculty performances. “After this dance, even other faculty’s children must be queuing up to attend ma’am’s classes,” a user quipped.
