The Hindi teaser of Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film Saamrajya has officially been released, and within hours, it has taken social media by storm. The Hindi version of the multilingual action-drama Kingdom, the film is directed by Jersey fame Gowtam Tinnanuri and is all set for a theatrical release on July 31.

The teaser introduces audiences to a dark, emotionally intense world where power is both a curse and a calling. Deverakonda’s character, gritty and scarred, is shown rising from betrayal and destruction to lead a crumbling empire he never intended to inherit. The actor’s rugged new avatar and powerful screen presence have struck a chord with fans, who are hailing it as one of his most transformative roles to date.
Director Gowtam Tinnanuri describes the heart of the story, “Saamrajya is about a man who never wanted the throne but is forced to rise because the world around him collapses. His scars tell the story of a world’s downfall and possibly its rebirth.”
The Hindi teaser has been widely praised for its tight editing, rich visuals, and high-impact background score. Audiences were particularly captivated by the teaser’s emotional undertones, raw action sequences, and the voiceover narration that adds gravitas. The teaser features voiceovers by Ranbir Kapoor (Hindi), Jr NTR (Telugu), and Suriya (Tamil), adding a unique pan-Indian appeal to the film.
Saamrajya also stars Bhagyashri Borse and Manish Chowdhary in pivotal roles. The film is presented in Hindi by Aditya Bhatia and Atul Rajani and will be distributed across North India by AA Films.
Backed by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, the film boasts music by Anirudh Ravichander, lyrics by Manan Bhardwaj, and cinematography by Girish Gangadharan and Jomon T. John. Set to release in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil, Saamrajya is gearing up to be one of the biggest pan-India spectacles of the year. With the teaser already trending, all eyes are now on July 31.
