Mariah Carey went for a bold look for an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” While all eyes were on her form-fitting leopard-print dress, her platform Louis Vuitton heels also commanded attention.
For the late-night appearance on Thursday, which was guest-hosted by comedian Fortune Feimster, the singer sported a pair of the luxury fashion house’s Swing platform sandal.

The sandal style is encrusted with sparkling rhinestones across the thick upper and on the straps, which is fitting for the glamorous Grammy winner. The front strap is signed with a tone-on-tone LV Twist accessory inspired by the clasp of the iconic Twist bag. The high block heel is covered in patent leather and features a distinctive half-flower shape, highlighted by a metallic, silver-toned interior.
The black strass sandals feature the brand’s signature hardware, including an adjustable buckle strap and a block heel measuring three inches, with a platform on the front of the foot. The shoes retail for $1,900. Carey paired the shoes with sheer black tights. The Swing platform sandal is part of Louis Vuitton‘s Swing shoe collection, which includes ballerina flats, sandals, slingbacks, mary janes and pumps.
Carey paired the platforms with a Balmain leopard-print jacquard knit midi dress. The dress retails for $3,800. The sleeveless dress features a V neckline, with halter straps with snap closure, bodycon silhouette, wih a hem that falls around mid-calf.

The Louis Vuitton swing sandals are a fit for Carey’s footwear style over the year. The singer tends to prefer towering platform heels and strappy sandals, which she wears on and off the stage.
The singer was on the late night talk show to promote her upcoming album “Here for It All,” and her new single “Sugar Sweet” drops on Friday. The new album is set to release on Sept. 26.
