Now, Shazia Iqbal joins this impressive roster, bringing her vision to Dhadak 2, an intense love story featuring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri in the lead roles.
At the film’s trailer launch, Karan Johar reflected on Dharma’s consistent efforts to support women behind the camera. He shared, “We’re proud to have collaborated with incredible women directors, and Shazia is a wonderful addition to that list. Meghna, Ruchi, Sonam, and Gauri have all created memorable films with us.”
He also expressed heartfelt appreciation for Iqbal’s work on Dhadak 2, stating, “Shazia, I’m so proud of you for making this beautiful film. I’ll always be grateful for the emotion and depth you’ve brought to this story.”
Dhadak 2 is slated to hit theatres on August 1, 2025. Zee Studios, Dharma Productions and Cloud 9 Pictures present Dhadak 2, directed by Shazia Iqbal and produced by Karan Johar, Umesh Kumar Bansal, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Meenu Aroraa, Somen Mishra, and Pragati Deshmukh.
