Following the success of the series, Tahir expressed his gratitude to Special Ops 2 creator Neeraj Pandey. The actor shared behind-the-scenes photos with the National Award winning director and penned a moving note. “A big thank you to the captain of our ship, @neerajpofficial the calm at the centre of the Special Ops2 storm and the visionary behind ‘The Collector’. I grew up watching A Wednesday & Special 26, masterclasses in storytelling where realism met style. To now be directed by the same mind feels like life coming full circle. What a ride,” Tahir wrote.

Special Ops 2 marks Tahir Raj Bhasin’s first collaboration with Neeraj Pandey. Headlined by Kay Kay Menon, the series also stars Vinay Pathak, Karan Tacker, Vipul Gupta, Arif Zakaria, and Prakash Raj, among others.
