Kelly Ripa added serious lift to the red carpet on Wednesday evening, arriving on the red carpet of ESPN’s “Running With the Wolves” premiere alongside her husband Mark Consuelos in a pair of blush pink satin platforms by Miu Miu.
The heels feature a dramatically curved stiletto, wide platform base and open toe. Wrapped in soft pink satin, the silhouette is anchored by a structured bow at the vamp with a gold-tone Miu Miu logo plaque at center. A thin ankle strap buckles at the side, offering contrast to the shoe’s otherwise heavy build.

The proportions feel sculptural, almost exaggerated — a mix of height and polish that’s become a recurring formula in Miu Miu’s recent collections. This particular style has surfaced across multiple seasons in different shades and finishes, but the pink satin version remains one of the most recognizable.

Her appearance joins a broader resurgence of platform heels on red carpets and film sets. Nicole Scherzinger wore Louboutin’s glossy Sandaloo sandals earlier this month in New York, while Meryl Streep stepped out in a round-toe Gucci pump on the “Devil Wears Prada 2” set. Sabrina Carpenter is also a fan of the silhouette, often pairing sky-high platforms with glittering bodysuits or minidresses.
For Miu Miu, the satin platform remains a quietly persistent staple. While fall 2025 campaign imagery has pivoted to pointed pumps and knee-high boots, the bow-embellished platform continues to reappear in blush, red and black — a holdover from the brand’s current era of hyper-femininity with bite.
“Running With the Wolves” follows the University of Nevada, Reno women’s basketball team through their breakout 2024-25 season. Directed by Dawn Porter, the six-part ESPN docuseries blends game footage with off-court moments and premiered July 23 on ESPN+.
