Hulk Hogan embraced his faith in the years leading up to his death.
The pro wrestling legend shared in December 2023 that he and his third wife, Sky Daily, got baptized.
“Total surrender and dedication to Jesus is the greatest day of my life. No worries, no hate, no judgment… only love!” he wrote via Instagram at the time, alongside photos and videos from the ceremony.
The baptism was performed by a pastor at Indian Rocks Church in Largo, Fla.
Hulk wore all-white for the occasion, but still maintained his signature look, which consisted of a T-shirt and a durag. Daily, for her part, wore a white robe for the religious ceremony.
The couple had just tied the knot in an intimate wedding in Florida two months prior.
Hulk (real name: Terry Bollea) and Daily said “I do” at the Indian Rocks Baptist Church in September 2023 in front of a small group of family and friends.
The WWE legend and yoga instructor had gotten engaged that July after dating for a year.
Daily remained married to Hogan up until his shocking death on Thursday.
“Unfortunately, we must confirm that Terry Bollea, aka Hulk Hogan, passed away this morning,” his reps said in a statement. “We are heartbroken. He was such a great human being and friend.”
Hogan went into cardiac arrest, per a 911 call TMZ obtained, and had reportedly been dealing with serious health issues in recent months.
However, Daily took to social media on July to debunk any concerns, writing via her Instagram Story at the time, “No, he’s definitely not in a coma!”
“His heart is strong, and there was never any lack of oxygen or brain damage. None of those rumors are true,” she further claimed.
The fitness instructor then explained, “He’s been recovering from a major four-level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusin (ACDF), which is an intense surgery with a long and layered healing process.
“If you look it up, you’ll see what the last six weeks have involved… not just for his spine, but also for his vocal cords, and the eating/breathing tubes that are clamped over during surgery.”
Hogan’s official cause of death has not yet been revealed.
He is survived by his two children: Brooke Hogan, 37, and Nick Hogan, 34, whom he shared with ex-wife Linda Hogan. He was also previously married to Jennifer McDaniel from 2010 to 2021.
