Glorilla was recently arrested after police officers investigating a burglary at an Atlanta home that she owns said they found marijuana in a bedroom closet. Glorilla was not home at the time of the burglary, early on Saturday morning, July 19, and it was cut short when somebody in the home fired shots at the intruders. (Nobody is believed to be injured.) According to a police statement, deputies smelled marijuana and called a drug task force, which then secured a search warrant and found a “significant amount of marijuana” in the closet. Glorilla was charged with felony marijuana possession and possession of a controlled substance.
Glorilla voluntarily turned herself in to Forsyth County Jail on Tuesday, and she was released on a $22,260 bond. Sheriff Ron Freeman said in a statement, “The homeowner is a victim of a serious crime, and we are committed to bringing the suspects to justice. At the same time, we must continue to uphold and enforce the law in all aspects of this case.” Police failed to find any of the three intruders.
