Every day, Saiyaara is creating history. If Monday was huge (Rs. 24.25 crores) with collections being bigger than Friday (Rs. 22 crores), then Tuesday has been further extraordinary. The collections have turned out to be quite close to Saturday (Rs. 26.25 crores), what with Rs. 25 crores coming in.

To think of it, the film is playing at half the count of screens when it comes to big star studded holiday releases that usually play at 4000-4500 screens at an average. Still, the collections during weekdays are historic, which is a testimony to how the film has been lapped by the audiences across the country and that too in such a huge way. A, B or C centres, elite or gentry, single screens or multiplexes, it’s Saiyaara wave all the way.

As a matter of fact, on Tuesday the ticket rates were discounted due to Blockbuster Tuesday offer, and still the collections are so much higher which means in terms of footfalls, it was an altogether different game. Moreover, the momentum is continuing well into the weekdays as well and by the look of things, Wednesday collections too may turn out to be Rs. 20 crores+, which is unprecedented. With Rs. 133.75 crores in its kitty already, this Mohit Suri, Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda and YRF musical romantic drama is a blockbuster of epic proportions and Rs. 200 Crore Club entry will happen on Saturday itself.
