Roger L. Jackson, who voices the iconic villain Ghostface in the Scream movies, will be appropriately lending his voice for the audiobook of a new book about the film series.
Your Favorite Scary Movie by journalist and author Ashley Cullins will be published by Penguin Random House on Aug. 19, and is an in-depth look at how the Scream films became a global sensation and revived a movie genre that was previously thought to be dead.
The book will feature brand-new interviews from over 80 key players in Scream’s history, including Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette and Kevin Williamson, as well as Jackson.
“It is my hope that everyone who listens to this audiobook enjoys it as much as I enjoyed reading it. So well written, with depth and nuance. Many things I never knew and stories I had never heard. This is essential reading for anyone interested in Scream,” said Jackson in a statement. “It was an honor to read this for fans of the films and people, like me, who delight in audiobooks.”
The Scream films have earned nearly $1 billion at the global box office, with the 7th film of the series due out in February 2026.
