Bad Bunny may have his own Adidas shoes, but he appeared on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” on Tuesday wearing sneakers from the athletic brand made in collaboration with Wales Bonner.

Appearing on the second episode of the late-night show since the controversial announcement of its cancellation by CBS, Bad Bunny specifically modeled the Wales Bonner Karintha Lo sneaker showcased in a colorway called Brown/Earth Strata/Utility Black. The sneaker was released in May as part of the brand’s spring 2025 collaborative collection, which was inspired by port towns and featured additional options like slides and sequined sneakers.
The tan suede low-profile sneakers worn by Bad Bunny feature a perforated version of Adidas’ iconic Three Stripes on the sides of the upper, which is set atop a black rubber outsole with an undulating top outline. He modeled shoes, which retail for $110, paired with a laid-back, beachy ensemble that included a T-shirt, shorts, a patterned hoodie, sunglasses and a baseball cap.

Since the release of the spring 2025 collection, there has been more news in the Adidas x Wales Bonner world. The latter brand’s spring 2026 show at Paris Fashion Week introduced a new version of the Karintha Lo, this time featuring a handwoven leather upper, and marked the return of the flat-sole Y-3 Field sneaker presented in metallic copper and a two-toned brown and royal blue option. The latter is part of a collaboration with Adidas Y-3, a sub-line designed by Yohji Yamamoto.
The Wales Bonner showroom also teased forthcoming collaborations that did not appear on the runway, including the Adidas Adizero Adios, Country, Gazelle Indoor and F50 styles. Wales Bonner is the eponymous label of British Jamaican designer Grace Wales Bonner. The first collection, jointly created by her brand and Adidas, was presented in 2020.
Meanwhile, Bad Bunny has his own partnership with Adidas. In addition to his Ballerina sneaker fitting in with the ballerina-sneaker hybrid craze, he has a collection of Gazelle sneakers paying homage to his native Puerto Rico, where he will start a residency on Friday. After the “El Yunque” and “Santurce” colorways dropped exclusively to Puerto Rico, the “Cabo Rojo” colorway is going global on Saturday.
But he doesn’t exclusively wear Adidas — he slipped on a pair of Dries Van Noten slippers for the premiere of “Happy Gilmore 2” on Monday to go with a Valentino look.
