Actor Akshay Oberoi is all set to return to India later this month after completing a professional engagement in the United States. Upon his return, the actor will resume filming for the final schedule of his upcoming project Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari — a film that has already completed most of its principal photography.

Starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, among others in pivotal roles, the film is described as a family-centric entertainer filled with humour, emotion, and relatable drama. Directed by a noted filmmaker and produced by a leading banner, the film aims to strike a balance between traditional Indian values and modern storytelling.
A source close to the production revealed, “Akshay has been juggling multiple exciting projects this year. He had to fly to the US for an international work commitment that had been in the pipeline for a while. But he’s fully committed to Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari and will resume shooting immediately upon his return. The remaining portions are expected to be wrapped up by the end of July.”
Speaking about the shoot, Akshay Oberoi added, “I’ve been shooting for Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari for a while now, and we’re almost at the finish line. There are just a few scenes left to complete once I’m back from the US. I’m looking forward to getting back on set and wrapping it up with the team.”
With its feel-good premise, star-studded cast that includes the likes of Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul among others, along with a promising narrative, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated family entertainers of the year. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film is slated to hit cinemas on the occasion of Dussehra, on October 2.
