Actor Rohman Shawl recently spoke about actor Sushmita Sen’s love for diamonds. He also opened up on whether he has ever gifted her a diamond.
Rohman, in a recent interview with Instant Bollywood, stated that he cannot afford to buy the diamond Sushmita would want to have. He said, “Jis hisab ke unko diamond pasand hai, abhi meri aukaat nahi itna bada kharidne ki. Toh jis din uss layak banunga, insha allah zaroor. (The kind of diamond she likes, I can not afford such a big one right now. So the day I become worthy of it, God willing, I definitely will).”
The actor also mentioned that Sushmita is fond of 22-carat-diamond. Rohman further said, “Unka ek pasandida diamond hai, woh 22 carats ka hai. Toh woh kamane ke liye bahot waqt hai, but inshallah jaldi. (She has a favourite diamond – it is 22 carats. It will take a lot of time to earn that much, but with God’s will, soon).”
Rohman and Sushmita started dating in 2018 and called it quits in 2021. The ‘Aarya 3’ actor confirmed the breakup on her Instagram post and wrote, “We began as friends, we remain friends!! The relationship was long over, the love remains!! (sic)”
Recently, the ex-couple have been spotted together once again on different occasions. Their meetups have sparked reunion rumours. However, neither Rohman, nor Sushmita reacted to the reports.
Rohman, who has been exploring a new career path, made his acting debut with the Tamil movie – ‘Amaran’ (2024). The film also featured Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi, Rahul Bose, Bhuvan Arora and others in key roles.
Sushmita’s was last seen in the crime-thriller series ‘Aarya 3’. The series was directed by Ram Madhwani and also featured Vikas Kumar, Ila Arun, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Sikandar Kher and others in pivotal characters.
