Good Boy, the South Korean action comedy drama series directed by Shim Na-yeon, has been making a lot of noise since its OTT release. The action-comedy drama, Good Boy, revolves around a special government task force consisting of former national athletes who’ve left behind their respective sports careers to take on a new challenge of fighting crime. Each member of the group brought their physical prowess and tactical intelligence to the new world of law enforcement.

Good Boy ends with ‘Min Ju-yeong’s’ arrest

The last episode of Good Boy, which is the 16th episode of the series, began with the city of Insung facing chaos. Several candy trucks exploded one after another, which confirmed that the threats given by the antagonist, ‘Ju-yeong’, were very real. The investigating team that dealt with three explosions realised that there was still one last truck left out and only ‘Yeon-ha’ might know its exact location. The investigation gained momentum as tension rose throughout the city of Insung. However, the investigating team tracked the last truck to the Victory Hotel, with the help of ‘Yu-na’, who had a personal connection with the antagonist. 

There was a very important shareholder meeting, where powerful and corrupt individuals gathered to prepare for a significant action. ‘Ju-yeong’ was the mastermind behind all, and this time, his aim wasn’t just to escape, but to take revenge that would satisfy his wicked purpose. The antagonist planned to release toxic sodium cyanide gas through the hotel’s air vents to kill everyone inside. Panic began when the toxic gas started spreading throughout the hotel. The protagonist, ‘Dong-ju’, made a heroic entry by breaking the hotel window to activate the emergency alarm, while ‘Han-na’ urgently called for backup. However, the investigating team managed to prevent a deadly massacre and thwart the antagonist’s horrifying mission. Amid the chaos, Commissioner ‘Pan-yeol’ saw an opportunity to change sides.

 
He earlier secretly protected the antagonist for years. However, after closely examining ‘Ju-yeong’s’ crimes, he decided to fight corruption in order to clear his name in the eyes of society. His drastic move won back public trust. But, the antagonist’s troubles were far from being over. When he reached the docks to escape by boat, the ‘Yakuza’, a violent group, showed up. ‘Ju-yeong’ had to face a brutal showdown that included gunfire, hand-to-hand combat, and betrayal. ‘Mr. Baek’ also joined the fight, but he didn’t survive. However, when ‘Ju-yeong’ tried to flee the fighting scene by diving into the sea, ‘Dong-ju’ caught him. In an intense underwater scene, ‘Dong-ju’ managed to handcuff him and bring him to justice.
