Put the clippers down, David.
David Beckham was left with a bald patch after attempting to cut his hair at home recently — and the former soccer star’s wife, Victoria, didn’t pass up the chance to savagely roast him on social media.
In an Instagram Reel shared over the weekend, the athlete gave fans a peek at the aftermath of his botched buzzcut, explaining that the head of his clippers fell off mid-shave.
“What have you done?!” Victoria can be heard asking.
As she starts hysterically laughing, David fires back, “It’s not funny.”
After noting “the hours of content that the kids have got from this,” Victoria didn’t hold back her thoughts on her husband’s grooming mishap.
“It does not look good,” she said. “I’m going to always be honest with you. It looks terrible.”
Fans — and Victoria, naturally — flooded the comments section of David’s post to poke fun at his uneven cut.
“What have u done?!? 😂😂 your little face!!! U were devastated 😂😂😂,” Victoria wrote.
“Oh my days,” added the couple’s son Romeo.
While some folks argued David could pull off the lopsided look — “Going the barbers tomorrow asking for a beckham,” one quipped — a duo of bald stars advised he fix the situation by getting rid of his hair entirely.
“Bro just do the whole head like that, easy fix,” wrote Jason Oppenheim of “Selling Sunset,” while Terry Crews added, “Join the bald club.”
David debuted his signature buzzcut in 2000 while playing for Manchester United, with the hairstyle quickly becoming a pop culture sensation.
He reflected on the haircut in the Netflix docuseries “Beckham,” which premiered in October 2023, recounting a conversation with his barber.
“I had a hairdresser at the time called Tyler. I said to him, ‘I’m gonna cut my hair,’ and he was like, ‘Are you sure? You really want to do that?’” David recalled.
Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United’s coach at the time, promptly confronted the athlete about his big chop ahead of their match against Leicester City.
“[Ferguson] said, ‘David take the cap off.’ And I said, ‘No,’” David said.
Well, hopefully he’ll leave his hair touch-ups to the pros next time.
